1. A two hour delay makes sixth graders very hyper (like they needed help with that).
2. A child having an asthma attack will leave large sweat marks on a gym floor (and that I can run up a flight of steps in about 7 seconds to get an inhaler from the office)
3. When you bring leftover pizza for lunch, they honestly think you'll give them a bite if they look pitiful enough (OK...she got a piece of sausage out of me).
4. Be careful how you pronounce schist (it's a metamorphic rock).
5. When kids do something wrong, somehow it's never their fault.
I'm learning so much in school this year...
